Department of Services for the Blind is a state department that helps blind and low vision Washingtonians get back to work. Washington Council of the Blind is our parent affiliate. They host a convention at the end of October every year. They have other special affiliates like Guide Dog Users of Washington State, Diabetics, and Next Gen for 16-40yr old’s. They also have several committees including families committee for parents and youth activities, and leadership program. They offer scholarships for higher education including trade schools.
